Alternative Advent Calendars 2014

Christmas Advent Calendar Rustic Cottage Style by peppermintfizz $73
Happy 1st December everyone. To kick off the festivities (and to remind you if you don't have one!), here is a mini list of a variety of alternative calendars for this advent.

To buy...

For chocolate lovers ... Thortons has to be the place to go. They have a range of designs from the Gruffalo, Snowman & general festive designs.
For sweet lovers ... the Jelly Belly advent is full of random, crazy flavours.
For whisky lovers … Drinks by the Dram have a calendar full of delicious whiskeys. They also have a calendar with rum too.
For nail varnish addicts … Ciate Mini Manor Nail Polish Calendar: the calendar is a beautiful design, (if I'm being honest I'd like it just for the box really!) and is packed with a variety of colours, some sparkles, some festive and some which would even suit the upcoming spring.
For candle enthusiasts ... It has to be Yankee Candle.
For your pet pooch… the Lily's Kitchen Advent Calendar is a dainty design, find out more information &  photos here.
For beauty lovers ... the No7 Beauty Calendar is a steal at £35, and a great way to try a range of No7 products.
For bubble bath lovers ... the Body Shop advent full of fruity, natural treats.
For retro make up lovers ... the Benefit advent calendar is full of amazing make up goodies.
For luxury beauty ... the only place to go is Selfridges.
Do It Yourself ...

✰ You could Sew your Own advent calendar for treats.
✰ Check out Hobbycraft for a wide variety of DIY advent calendars alongside materials to decorate with.
✰ For crafty inspiration, A Beautiful Mess  is the first stop. This year they've made a string DIY advent. My all time favourite advent by them has to be this one.
