All I Want For Christmas ... The Bumper Gift Guide 2015

This weekend there is one thing on my agenda - Christmas Shopping! I'm off up to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and wherever else there is a lovely shopfront in the capital, in the hopes of getting the remainder of my gift list checked off! I thought I'd compile one bumper gift guide with lots of gifts I've been eyeing up this year... with over 100 different gifts ranging from £1 to £350, I hope there is something for everyone in this guide!

His & Hers
For all those handsome fellas & lovely lass's I thought I'd compile a little His & Hers to start off my gift guide this year. I absolutely love the scent of Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne ... the sound of the scent I was intrigued with earlier this winter, so I ordered some sample vials and fell in love - I'd like the scent and candle please! If not, a fragrance for him has to be the mega babe endorsed Boss Bottled ...hello Gerard Butler! Seasalt's Breton Box of Socks are a perfect sharesies gift. Champneys have a brilliant range out this year which are perfect for his & hers gifts;  there's the Champneys Spa Essentials Weekend Bag for Him and Relaxation Hamper for Her, and to top it off snuggle down in the Luxury Fleece Robes in White or Grey (I picked the grey for myself!). Champneys also have a wide range of gifts ranging from £8 and Boots have 3 for 2 at the moment!

Little Ones

I find myself forever looking at children's clothes and toys and then have the thought process maybe I should buy them now for my future children! I'm head over heels for The Ruby Floral Dress from Joules ... fuchsia pink and these Bamboo Horse Socks could match. A gift I normally buy my sister every year (even though she's 14!) is Little Snow Fairy as it has some Lush favourites in! I love the cosiness of this French Navy Fleece. Some stocking fillers ... 1st up from my favourite Xmas TV Advert Man on the Moon Chocolate Coins at £1 you really cannot go wrong! To keep the children occupied The Gruffalo's Child Activity Book or reading another childhood favourite, there's a lot to choose from with the Roald Dahl Book Set (Matilda is my favourite!) The White Company have some stunning children's toys this year, my favourites are the Wooden Rocking Horse and London Toy Bus
Tiny Ones

I love this Mouse Applique Bib, from Joules, and they have loads of other animal designs! The White Company strikes again as there are so many gorgeous toys to choose from. There's the class Bashful Bunny by Jellycat or commemorate this year with the 2016 Bear Comforter. I've actually fallen head over heels for the Animal Stacker and am trying to find any reason to buy this (maybe for my class?! or my dog?!). Other fun stocking fillers include the Bertie Puppy Rattle & one of my favourite activities - Finger Paint Animals which I believe you could use from any age!
Not on the High Street have some lovely gifts, there are far too many to feature over on this little space buy my top picks include the Personalised Dinosaur PyjamasWooden XylophoneKeepsake Building Block and Book of Nursery Rhymes.

Furry Friends

Finally a category I can really relate too... I've definitely point Cece far too much this Christmas, and I'm still finding things to buy her like this Rosewood Knit Grey Jumper ... grey is my favourite colour at the moment, and I've been known to love dressing Cece up from vintage jumpers to adidog tracksuits! Christmas themed outfits are also a must and I love this Dog Santa Jumper. Cece has far too many toys, but I love this Squeaky Duck Toy especially with it's little red santa hat! Treat wise... it has to be Lily's ... I've got Cece a big variety of Lily's for this Christmas including Lily's Kitchen Limited Edition Christmas Biscuits for Dogs. This year I've also been treating my cats that live at my parent's house. I've got them Lily's Crunchy Nibbles Delicious Chicken and for anyone looking for a nice way to package any treats the Fifi & Fred Cat Treat Jar. Another gift I'd highly recommend is the Multi Level Cat Scratcher ... I genuinely didn't expect my cats to take to this (with Lola being the moodiest cat around!) but this is loved in my parents house, and well worth the money!

Just a little selection for foodie fanatics. Seasalt Cornwall have lovely cookware... I'd start with the Fish & Chips Apron to cook in, even if it's just eggs which would be perfect to serve in the Leach Pottery Ceramic Egg Cups ... these are new to the website, and after buying two Leach mugs back in the summer, I am hooked and want the whole range and a trip to the factory where they're made! Well worth every penny! Boots once again have lots of different gift sets for food lovers and chefs... last year we were loving the Laura Ashley and Hairy Bikers Pie Dish, this year Jamie Oliver Recipe Box is perfect for keeping all your favourites together, this year I've found myself tearing pages out of the Sunday magazines and free magazines from supermarkets, especially after my Mum made the best simple Banoffee Pie out of the Asda Food magazine! Other spots from the Jamie Oliver range are the Nested Serving Bowls. If you have friends who love a cheeky Nando's, then the Nandos Seven Sauce Experimental Set is an absolute winner. High on the 'to buy for Dad' list is the Spice Tool Box from the Hairy Bikers & Meat Rubs. Two cookbooks that have caught my eye are the Cereal Killer Cafe Cookbook because cereal for dinner is a real thing, and the Fries Cookbook. And to cook it in, get metallic with Copper Cookware.

Posh Nosh

So this is basically what is on my Christmas/New Years list; champagne, whisky and Charbonnel et Walker goodies! A bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne Impérial (surprisingly cheap on Amazon!), the only sea salt goods I need come in the form of Charbonnel et Walker Dark Sea Salt Caramel Truffles with Chocolat Charbonnel Luxury Hot Drinking Chocolate to go with it! For chilli lovers the Haworth & Rose Chilli Oil Trio would make a fabulous gift. The next gift is a bit pricey (ahem £350)  but good whiskey, coffee, a gorgeous scarf and that leather bag makes the Weekend Break Bag with Balvenie Doublewood Whisky a fabulous splurge present!

Powder Room Loves
I'm not one for false nails, but festive false nails designed by Henry Holland I can stretch to; House of Holland Snowflake Nails. High on my wish list this Christmas is the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. The Burberry Eye Palette in the rose tones has caught my eye too, after being inspired by Glamour magazine's recommendations of getting the Burberry Eyebrow Definer in Sepia & Burberry Bold Lash Mascara in Chestnut ... I'm normally a black eyeliner person, but I'm leaning more towards browns nowadays. Along with my addiction for anything rose gold, the release of the Michael Kors Rose Radiant Gold this year means I'm now in the need of another perfume! One resolution I have for next year is to take better care of my hair; no more bleaching, and spending out a bit more than a couple of quid of daily care. Bumble & Bumble has caught my eye recently, and so the Bumble & Bumble Thickening Hair Set or the Surf Hair Set or The Gift of the Great Big Blow-dry would make great gifts for hair enthusiasts!

Bathtime Bliss
A combination of everything I love; Jo Malone, Michael Buble & Lush!

For Bloggers

I have been eyeing up a new book to give me some new blog inspiration and The Badass Blog Planner is top of my list, and my Amazon wishlist tells me it's 40% off at the moment. A Blogger book I'm anticipating is Deliciously Ella Every Day ... I'm far from healthy, but after buying Ella's first book back in the summer, and falling in love with so many different recipes, I'm a huge fan! Skinny Dip is another popular Insta favourite at the moment, and after umming about the Milk Carton bag, I found a smaller alternative with the Skinny Dip Milk Passport Holder. This Live Laugh Love Poster is perfect for some inspiration on the days we all have writers block!
Secret Santa

I usually get really awful secret santa's- usually its someone I don't know and have no clue how to buy for. This year I'm taking part in two secret santa's one at work and the Glitterati's secret santa and both people I know exactly what to buy!

For Teachers
I'm being awfully bias with this job related one, but I figured as many bloggers I know have children, some ideas for what to buy their child's teacher other than chocolates might come in handy. Parody books of classics are high on my list such as We're Going on a Bar Hunt or The Very Hungover Caterpillar would be a funny alternative which I'm sure most teachers/ lovers of those stories would appreciate! Two books I stumbled across over the years, once when I was at secondary school and the second at college last year were Pop Charts and Venn That Tune ... these are like the geeky book stocking filler, but actually can be used as fun lesson starters in class too! I love personalised gifts too - this Teacher Wine Glass made me giggle! This Personalised Notebook I received as a gift two years ago from a teacher I worked with, and wrote all notes in it for what I wanted my 1st class to look and be like. I am falling in love with stamps at the moment, and already have my own set of Personalised Stamps ... timesavers are always top of any teachers list!
Netflix & Chill
Basically my combination for Netflix & Chill ... fluffy socks, a blanket (or ten!) and my Leach mugs!
Leach Pottery MugBloomin Good SocksMohair Throw

Oh & one thing to go check out for any lover of Bob's Burgers... Custom Bob's Burger's Portrait. This guy's designs are AMAZING!
Art & Craft Lovers
I've been eyeing up the Seasalt Company Sketch Book after buying the mini notebook to jot ideas down in! Temporary Tattoos are still in my eyes completely acceptable post-90s, and the Rosie Wonders Christmas Tattoos are perfect for the holiday season! Colouring books are all the rage at the moment ... The Mindfulness Colouring Book is my favourite and the size makes it easy to travel in my handbag, with the Staedtler Felt-Tip Pens Set of 26 to use with it! The 3D Wording Papercut Frame would decorate a desk perfectly alongside this Joules Blue Painted Cushion  would make for a lovely office for creatives or follow Earl and Pearl and create your own cushion with the Bring Me Sunshine Craft Kit.

Those Who Just LOVE to be Organised...
I'm an avid planner, so stationery is always on the gift list for me. I'm a huge lover of Rifle Paper Co... I already have the Botancials Notebook Collection and I love this years 12 Month Travel the World Calendar. I rather embarrassingly have 3 calendars this year, one of which is Jamie Dornan's but it was a close battle between Mr Grey & Ryan Gosling! These Forget Me Not Sticky Notes
are adorable! The Terrific Year Planner by Veronica Dearly with the varying additions of the business edition,  family edition and new photo a day edition and great for planning; I had 3 different wall planners this year and ticked a few ideas off the list and have a DIY coming up for how I'm using the leftover ideas next year! Whilst making this list, I also came across the most dreamy Pinboard EVER ... is £150 too much?

Subscriptions are a great alternative gift to give at Christmas. Some alternative subscriptions you could give are;
♥ Crown and Glory The Glitterati ; for hair accessory enthusiasts and also to become a part of probably the best online community there is out there! If you use my name when you sign up, we'll both get a £10 voucher too!
♥ V Gd Fun Club; if the Veronica Dearly planner took your fancy, then you may be interested in the V Gd Fun Club which provides a box of cards and stationery every month for £10.
♥ Pawsome Box; for your favourite pet pooch!
♥ Graze; Graze is something I tried a few years back, liked but didn't like everything I was sent! Well recently Graze sent me a 50% off for 3 boxes, and I've had another peek and they have some good new snacks to try!
Treat Yourself

This last one is basically pieces I'm loving right now, that I couldn't categorise! I love the Jo Malone Roasted Chestnut Candle the candle design is stunning. Even though I have so many scarves, I am eyeing up the Laurel Leaf Check Scarf... that mustard colour (insert heart emoji here!). After being addicted to Broad City and channeling my inner Abbi, I'm after reading Wildflower by Drew Barrymore. For Christmas I'm planning on completely unwinding and one way I intend to do this is with The Magical Christmas: A Colouring Book. I love using my Fitbit Flex  so would definitely recommend if you are hesitating on clicking buy, don't - they are worth every penny and are very motivating! Last year on my Christmas list was an Olivia Burton Watch. I brought one with a brown leather strap and large dial, but now I am hugely jealous/impressed that you can buy the watches with changeable straps ... Olivia Burton Big Dial Watch Gift Set. The last thing very high on my list is the
Pandora Rose Feather Earring Pendants and Feather Ring ... I love Rose Gold, and I'm not big on sparkles usually but these pieces have really caught my eye!

& that's it!

and just incase all this lot isn't enough inspiration, check out last year's gift guides; for the family, for food lovers, His & Hers, for your BFF, for pets and for bookworms.

Happy Festive Shopping!
