The coach pulled in an hour early after travelling overnight to Edinburgh from London Victoria... so instead of getting breakfast first, we opted to tick off a must see, and try and see the sun rise over Edinburgh from Arthur's Seat.
There was a little bit of snow on the ground, and the roads were icy. At the bottom of the hill, the weather was clear, it was a very different story at the top.
Some parts were ridiculously slippy. Climbing up was okay, coming down was harder, and I did fall over flat on my face at one point! We saw people running up and down the hill, and honestly could not understand how you could run on a snowy steep hill!
At the top, a snowstorm decided to greet us. Not the best thing when you are on cliff like edges! My ear muffs, Kate Spade hat & blanket scarf half helped deal with it though!
