Motown the Musical

For over three months I have been counting down the days until my lovely Mother's birthday, as for her birthday, we was off to see Motown the Musical. I'd seen trailers, bus stop adverts, their appearances on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and I was itching to see it! The day included getting sister braids at the Braid Bar in Topshop Oxford Street (I picked The S), lunch at Bodean's in Covent Garden including pulled pork, nachos and cocktails heaven, jokes about Tumblr, discovering how catchy songs by Odyssey are (thanks Bodeans!), a trip to Hardy's sweet shop where I genuinely wanted to buy everything Reese's Peanut Butter Cup including the huge one in the shop window and then the show itself, which was so bloody amazing, and I am going back to see it for my birthday (even though that's February but that's less than a year away!) We sat in the front row, and honestly I fell in love with the Diana Ross performer, and the kid playing Michael Jackson had the most insane voice, and I now love Jackson 5 ... I cannot stop listening to 'The Love You Save'. I feel now like I need to discover a hidden Motown scene where I can go and dance along to all the music! This is definitely one of the best things I've done this year, and I can't wait to go back!!!
