Columbia Road Flower Market

Last weekend, whilst ticking off many other things on my London to do list as well as attending a blogger event, I decided to tick off going to Columbia Road Flower Market. I'd been to the flower market at Christmas before and wanted to visit again at Christmas time. The market was full of colour and life; sunflowers, tourists, hydrangea heads, chilli plants, rosemary and lots of noise!

I walked away with a huge bunch of eucalyptus which is now sitting nicely in a glass vase and a cactus. If I was going straight home, I'd of picked up a lot more flowers, including those gorgeous sunflowers!

I'm debating going back September - November time - if anyone has a recommendation for a good time for unusual flowers I'd love to know, or of any other nice flower markets about town?
