Christmas Market at the Tate Modern

At the weekend, I had a morning free before attending my Crisis at Christmas volunteer training, so looked up Christmas markets, and opted for somewhere I've never been before; the Tate Modern. Open at 10am on weekends, 11am during the week, it was an easy to find, free way to spend the morning browsing traditional stalls. Within the market was a variety of stalls from art stalls and vintage stalls - my favourites were a photograph/art print stall that had quirky spins on classic children's characters & the Christmas baubles!

For food & drink there was mulled wine, hot apple cider, churros, roast turkey/pork, pan fried potatoes, decorated gingerbread, fried mushrooms and much more... for me, the hardest part was walking past the roast pork roll stand, and having to give it a miss due to pre-Christmas Slimfasting! The market is on for another week, and I'd definitely recommend visiting if in London.
