Brecon Beacons

Looking back through these photos brings back the best of memories. From my trip to Wales back in February, Brecon Beacons was high on my list of things I wanted to do. We took the bus from central Cardiff that morning and took the hour - two hour journey into Brecon. We had about six hours to explore Brecon Beacons and climb a few peaks before having to return back for our bus back to Cardiff. We started off in the town having a look around the shops, then set off to climb some hills. We visited the Visitor centre at the top of one of the peaks, which had the most gorgeous souvenirs and crafts for sale - I spent £20 buying the blue knitted hat as modelled above, and bought some blue floral daisy earrings which were handmade. Excuse my lovely style for the day - even though I got to wear my Manners Apparel Blair + Chuck sweatshirt, I paired it with Primark sports leggings to aid my walking! As we got to the Beacons by bus, I remember thinking just how beautiful and breathtaking it all is, from the lakes, mountains, trees and just endless greenery for miles. It was like stepping into the Sound of Music! We walked, explored, laughed, climbed and it was just a wonderful day. I wish I had longer to explore, and will probably drive once I've passed my test - next time I want to find a waterfall!
