#MagnumLDN Daring in Fashion Stylist Event with Tatty Devine

One thing I love about living close to London is the amount of Pop Up's that pop up (ha! ) all over the capital. Stylist magazine is literally my favourite magazine - it was my staple at university and I'm always begging friends and family to pick me up a copy uptown if they see it! Combine Stylist with Magnum, Fashion and Tatty Devine - I knew this evening would be one I couldn't miss!

The Magnum London Pleasure Store is located on Seven Dials and it's not hard to miss as it's windows are lit up with sparkly themed magnums - I loved the leopard print magnum, and definitely feel that could make a fantastic piece of art for my own home! Upon arrival we  had the choice of champagne or raspberry mocktails - I opted for a raspberry mocktail and it was delicious. Around the venue, there were Magnum x Moschino pieces, Stylist magazines and previous magazine art pieces, a photobooth as well as lots of neon lights! The Magnum creation station was majorly impressive - so many different toppings to pick from including truffle salt, fudge pieces, petals. The magnums are double or triple dipped with a variety of different flavours - I went for my favourite peanut butter and had fudge and truffle salt on top and it was gorgeous!

I met up with Vix and Sanoobar, and we took front row seats to watch Lucy Reber, Stylist's Fashion Editor to talk all things Daring in Fashion. She looked back on some daring outfits - my favourite has to be Madonna's cone bra! Then she spoke about daring trends that are coming back - Retro Metallics, Seventies and Bold Colour, and how to style them with casual pieces.

Lucy then hosted a session with Harriet and Rosie, founders of jewellery brand Tatty Devine. I loved this part of the evening, because I have loved Tatty Devine since I was 16, when I first spotted Tatty Devine pieces whilst going through my Pin Up/ Amy Winehouse phase and wore this Swallow necklace religiously, then turning 18 and getting my personalised glitter name necklace so to see the founders being interviewed in personal was a huge privilege and majorly exciting for me! They spoke about how they were friends at university, all the parties they had been to and hosted alongside the growth of Tatty Devine as a brand. It was interesting hearing about their inspirations for pieces, and the collaborations they have past and current.

It was such a lovely evening drinking, eating ice cream and talking all things fashion! I'd recommend stopping by the Magnum Pleasure Store London this summer and creating your own Magnum. I'd also search the #MagnumLDN tag on Instagram and see all the different creations if you need ice cream inspiration!
