The Fullerton Arms Ballintoy

As part of the Paddywagon Giant's Causeway tour, there was a lunch stop at a lovely little pub called The Fullerton Arms which is in Ballintoy, County Antrim. It was the stop after the Carrick A Rede rope bridge, and it was a much needed lunch after lots of walking!
We picked from a menu that morning on the coach with options including Seafood Chowder,  Chicken Caeser Salad and Vegetable Pasta. I opted for Steak and Guiness Pie with chips which was absolutely divine - the steak chunks were gorgeous and there were so many! To go with it, I had to try an Irish Whiskey and I opted for a Bushmills! The other thing that I loved about this pub was obviously the Game of Thrones theme in it - as part of the Game of Thrones season 6, ten themed doors were made from wood after Storm Gertrude blew down trees at the Dark Hedges which were featured in the series as the road to Kings Landing. The Fullerton Arms has door number 6, and it is so detailed and beautifully carved! Inside the pub there is an iron throne, map of Westeros and wall hangings.
