Charlie Rockets

When a bar serves beer the size of your head, you know you've found a good place to be.
Whilst getting lost in Brugge on our recent day trip to the Christmas markets, we stumbled upon a place with bright lights, American signs, flags & vintage posters covering every inch of wall space. Charlie Rockets is a hostel, bar & restaurant with no curfew and lots of character and is now my favourite hangout in Brugge.
I opted for a Kir Royale, which is obviously a sign of a good place to drink because it is a smashing cocktail. Brad went for a litre of beer - no biggie right? We sat drinking, and sat by the window people watching. Charlie Rockets also have a sister Italian restaurant, and in the bar itself they serve italian food - we weren't intending on eating, however saw a neighbouring table's pizza, and couldn't not order when we saw how lush it looked. It was divine and scoffed in under five minutes. If you are in Brugge, you need to come in and have a drink here. I'd be tempted to try out the hostel some time too if I were staying over night!
