Revival Whitstable

I've walked past Revival on Whitstable high street countless times and always wanted to venture inside and whenever I've had the time to, I end up walking past when it's shut! Well, Saturday I made it inside and I'm so glad I did and have ended up kicking myself I've not made it inside sooner! Revival is a social initiative run by the charity which is very close to home (literaly!) Mind in Bexley. They offer a wide range of dietary choices and their website highlights 80% of the menu is gluten free or vegan.

I went for an Eton Mess sundae and oh my goodness it was gorgeous! I honestly couldn't pick because the menu had such a huge selection, and last minute changed from banoffee to banana split to Eton Mess and ended up with a glorious dessert!

I also had one of their mocktails off the menu - this one is a Cinderella which was fruity with a ginger beer twist!

There are records in the toilet. I repeat - records in the toilet! Oh and you can also request records to played which I think is a absolutely cracking idea.

There is so much going on in the cafe to look at, and also events promoted on the walls and windows. There's a board game club, curry & quiz nights & you can host events there. You can pay it forward which I love.

You can buy the art & ceramics on the walls. There is also a wall full of leaflets printed by Mind for customers to browse and take ... even my local doctors doesn't offer that! If you are in Whitstable, and Revival is open go in, even if just for the ice cream! I can't wait to go back - the table next to us had nachos and they looked divine!
