eleven things; bright

it's been a little while since I've wrote this series /anything over on this little online space. I decided I needed a break away from social media in general and took a couple of weeks away, and then life in general became a bit of a whirlwind. One of the best things about taking a step back is the creativity and clarity that came with it - I have had so many ideas for writing and creating both on and offline. Eleven Things is taking a mini new direction too - I had the idea to theme each week around a word, instead of repeatedly knocking out 'eleven things' as the title. This week, I've gone for bright, as I feel bright, it's been bright and it's December and festive and lovely. So, cracking on with the list of things I'm bloomin' grateful for this week...

one. hands down one of my number one things from this week has been going to the curry and quiz night at Revival. It was the last one hosted on Oxford Street in Whitstable as they have now relocated to The Horsebridge Centre and it was fabulous. It was a festive themed quiz so I was sold straight away and we needed a festive team name, where I felt ours was 100% the best - The Turkey Quizzlers.

two. brunch at Farm & Harper - the most gorgeous hot chocolate and the most delicious huevos rancheros I've ever had.

three. the Christmas decorations have gone back up for another year. Our new house has so many little nooks and spots for showcasing things, it's been nice to find new places for all our old favourites.

four. mac and cheese - I'm obsessed having only tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. The Co Op have the best ready made one.

five. we finished watching Pose Season 2 - I cried so much during the past season and I think it may be my favourite TV show of the year. Just beautiful and if you haven't watched it, watch it. It's an education and inspiration all in one.

six. investing in a new desk/ office setup from West Elm which I've been after for ages in the Black Friday sale, ready for the new year.

seven. roast dinners on a Tuesday.

eight. spending Saturday night watching The Lizzie Mcquire Movie. I forgot how cheesy yet brilliant this film is and yes I still know all the words to the entire soundtrack.

nine. the last number nine I wrote was Strictly themed, so let's keep it the same - I'm obsessed. Ridiculous obsessed that I keep sitting watching old dances from previous seasons and forever wishing I could dance as good.

ten.  dressing Cece in a favourite of jumpers both old and new.

eleven. the Gavin & Stacey trailer dropping ahead of the Christmas Day Special.
