Eleven Things; Crossword

Well it's been a little while. I took a bit of a mini break from writing and spent some well needed time offline, and I feel miles better for it and then when I came back to this space, realised how much I'd really missed doing these little lists.

one. I've become addicted to crossword and puzzle books. We are spending so much time chilling and completing a variety of conundrums - I feel I may have aged 50 years overnight but I really am loving and fully embracing it.

two. picnic lunches at home... hummus, apple slices, sandwiches and crisps.

three. we ended up with an added bonus with our supermarket delivery... three bags full of extra food. It was a bizarrely odd freebie, which left us in actual fits of laughter.

four. we had our third win on the Postcode Lottery! Unfortunately no one was knocking at our door but every small win counts right?

five. getting back into scrapbooking again. I've got a range of small and large scrapbooks which are filled with inspiration, images and quotes.

six. the first bunch of sunflowers for the year.

seven. spending some time working on my dolls house - I'm 4 rooms in now for wallpaper, got 2 to go then to start on the flooring.

eight. listening to podcasts - loving the Michelle Obama podcast, Elizabeth Day's How To Fail & Off Menu (as always)

nine. filling in my new diary. I was going to hold off and buy a 2021 diary and use up my old diary, however opted against it as I spotted a gorgeous Rifle Paper Co diary and felt like this summer was time for a fresh new diary full of fresh new dates.

ten. odd new fruit from M&S - Tutti Fruiti grapes and a Limelon.

eleven. spending a day sitting on the beach with friends and a picnic & watching the boats sailing, and laughing about inappropriately named boats.
