A Mini Wednesday Boot Sale Haul

We have been loving boot fairs lately, and yesterday we managed to get to a boot fair ... on a Wednesday! It's one of our favourite ones to visit; it doesn't open until 9:30am, but the sellers have a few hours to set up before then. Their entry to set up a stall is only £5, which I think contributes to the most amazing things being found at this boot fair; some days I've found items for 5p and I've never spent more than £10 on any day and always come back with bags full.

The first item we spotted was The Hungry Caterpillar set ... it was the board book and a set of blocks from 1 - 10, with colours and illustrations on the different faces of the blocks. This cost us £1 and I was really pleased with this find! Then we spotted the M&S bibs which were brand new and were £1.50; Jude's been growing out of his baby bibs and these are the big bandana style ones too. I picked up 3 pairs of leggings (including Snoopy leggings) for £1. We also managed to get two Disneyland Paris glasses (Mickey and Minnie) for 25p each; we already have the Donald Duck one, so this matches perfectly as it's a highball style. Two different stalls were selling vintage beer mats, so I spent £2 stocking up my collection with new unique designs. We also managed to get some books for 20p each including That's Not My Lion (our collection is getting bigger and bigger of the Usborne series!), Ten Little Superheroes and My First Signs which I was really pleased to find as this was on my list of books to buy next month and I didn't expect to find a secondhand copy whatsoever!
